Knowing that you (INTJ'S) already have superior decision making abilities, logic would suggest that you just have to make a decision and it will probably be more than adequate.

i have typed as an INFJ ever since i took the test for the first time march of last year. Since... 3/2023 = INFJ 6/2023 = INFJ 12/2023 = INFJ 3/2024 = INFP 6/30/2024 = INTJ... because of my spiritual awakening(11/2022) coupled with everything that has happened to me since then, I have truly achieved balance with my 2 middle functions...so for me i am... Ni Fe/Fi Ti/Te Se

It now takes me an average of 19 minutes, each morning, to pull off 880 reps of; pushups, situps, squats and chinups. My best time was 18:45 and end of year goal is an irrational 10 minutes but diminishing returns suck an I moght not drop below the 14 minute mark until this time next year. Hard to raise my power level in old age... It's probably the only thing I have a slight shot of being the "best" at.

I was a withdrawn class clown who enjoyed playing roleplay games all the time. I cried a lot and then decided to never cry again. I was either dominant and excited or melancholic and isolated. School was always boring and draining.

As I get older, I do more of things not INTJ’s, I guess that is how we evolve to balance ourselves and all the life lessons we have come down to. We learn to give our weakest traits a chance to flourish. I try new things, I let enjoyment dictates. I am softer to myself now. I still plan in my head though, but bits at a time, no so much into the future and I compartmentalise what needs to be planned and what I should just let go with the flow. That way I still satisfy my ‘planning brain’. I found that by trying new things it is the best path to unlock my potential and creativity, at the same time to feed my curiosity. It’s my extrovert sensing at work. Whatever new things I learn, allow me to occupy myself into learning that thing in depth in solitude, and that’s refreshing how by doing that I could reinvent myself and have different phases of growth.

I find it funny when someone makes a double entendre and I know that everyone in the immediate vicinity gets the joke, so I'll purposely say, " I don't get it", stone serious, because I know that the person will have to explain it. I usually do it only if the joke is really lame. It just makes me so happy to see someone squirm a bit right before I tell them that I get it. Then I laugh. :)

Hi Li Jo, as an over 65 year INTJ-A, 55% I, 91%N, 70%T, and 73%J, doctorate in chemistry. I find much of what genx and millennial "INTJs" have speak of as quatch and perhaps more relative to their emotionally deprived upbringing. They project an image of some fantasy INTJ that conforms to and reinforces their own egotistical whims. Albiet, your analysis may be sound, can you project how this thought pattern might evolve with maturity and under a more dynamic mindset? You speak of out of the box but in turn fall back into the same paradigm.

I'm now beginning to perceive a number, somewhere between 5 and 15. That number would describe the number of MBTI videos on UA-cam I can watch, while thinking I'm either an INTP or an INTJ, before I *flip* and start thinking I am in fact an INTJ or INTP. I think the problem is that I'm an INTP working in an inherently subjective, internal field that isn't really about *facts* - that field being poetry.

When I have a trash in my hand (sandwich bag, cigarette bum) I carry it until find a bin and I toss it into the trashcan. Are the majority of people doing this in this scenario? No. When I see someone is frustrated in the workplace i go there and ask them, what's going on, i see your frustration, talk me about it, maybe it will help to think it trough and then i just play the duck and it helps. Are the majority of people doing this in this scenario? No. When someone ask me a favor before I want to leave work, i say NO. Are the majority of people doing this in this scenario? No. When i woke up in the morning, i cry for 40-70 minutes and i'm shaking because of my anxiety. Are the majority of people doing this in this scenario? No.

This INTJ doesn't like to eat just "to eat" things. It takes too much effort to eat when not needed. This INTJ will definitely look at things every possible way, which is very useful on the job as a software developer. This INTJ will absolutely do things with a purpose. Even going out to watch a movie serves a purpose if it is necessary to step away and let ideas ferment. If an INTJ created a standardized test, it might work better for everyone because the questions will line up better to the choice answers, as the correct answers will work every possible way according to the question and the wrong answers will not work in any possible way. (Virtually every question posed by another person is biased.) This INTJ will also apply logic and algorithms to information in order to find a solution. Facts vary by context, and can change, but the process to determine the output never changes once it is proven. If the output is different then the process is not correct for the input.

After a lifetime of work in which I didn’t care about acknowledgements or speaking up for the things I accomplished because I knew I did it and that was enough. And because i didn’t, mediocre colleagues were stealing the glory along with the all talk and no action extroverts sucking all the air out of the room. The mediocre people are happy to let you be quietly on your own, as it leaves all the salary and promotions for them. INTJ’s slide the manhole cover out of the way and crawl out of the hole occasionally and you will see the people getting ahead aren’t doing long brain runs to solve problems they are the ones playing golf with the big boss. So as Lijo said monetarily quantify you successes for the boss and marry into the bosses family.
